About Joe Kalafat
I built GoJo Agency because I got tired of watching Montana businesses pay for marketing that didn't move the needle. My focus has always been one thing: more customers, more revenue, less wasted time.
My Story
I'm not a marketer who became a business consultant. I'm a business owner who learned marketing because I had to — because my own revenue depended on it.
Over the years I've started businesses, built media brands, and developed systems to generate customers and reduce operational drag. I know what it's like to be buried in daily tasks while the growth side of the business gets ignored.
That experience is the foundation of everything GoJo does. When I work with a Montana business, I'm not thinking about impressions or engagement rates. I'm thinking about how many customers walked in the door and what it cost to get them there.
GoJo exists to give Montana businesses the same competitive edge that big-city companies take for granted — AI, automation, modern marketing, and real visibility — without the big-agency nonsense.
Background
GoJo Agency isn't my first rodeo. Before building this agency I spent years in the trenches of business ownership — building companies, generating revenue, figuring out what works and what's a waste of money.
That background shapes everything about how I work with clients. I've sat on your side of the table. I know what it feels like to have more month than money, to wonder why the phone isn't ringing, to hand over a check to an agency and see nothing change.
GoJo Agency was built specifically to be different from that experience.
Montana Media Network
Unlike any other agency in Montana, GoJo is connected to a growing network of local media properties. This gives our clients additional visibility opportunities that simply aren't available anywhere else.
Why GoJo Is Different
Most agencies sell you a package, hand you off to a junior employee, and send a monthly report that doesn't tell you anything useful. That's not how GoJo works.
When you work with GoJo, you work directly with me. I know your business, I understand your market, and I'm accountable for your results — not just your invoice.
Let's talk about your business — what's working, what's not, and what's possible.
